Everyone is welcome to join at any time.  You don’t have to audition, be a trained singer.  All you need is a love of music, a good ear and loads of enthusiasm.  Joining a choir can help you improve singing technique and, as a bonus, it’s a fantastic way to exercise.  Our members come from all walks of life and all age ranges, with one common interest - singing.  If you are at school or in full time education then you will only be required to pay a nominal subscription.

There is no charge for the first three rehearsals; just come and see if you like us.

The choir rehearses on Mondays from 7:15 to 9:30pm during school term times in the United Reformed Church, Main Street, Cockermouth, where you are assured of a warm welcome.

As well as regular concerts, the choir has a lively programme of social and fundraising activities.
